For Sale - 1978 MGB    PRICE  REDUCED!

                                     $1,000 - Come Get it!!

Is anyone looking to restore an MGB?  It has been in storage since roughly 1992.  Very little rust.  Needs windshield.  I have the following new parts that just need to be installed: distributor cap, plug wires, fuel pump, coil, ignition points, and ignition condensor, all brand new in box.

Factory Webber side draft carb (I have the air cleaner).  Original british racing green paint.  Factory wire wheels -- I even have the spare wire wheel. VERY VERY Complete Car.  It will turn over and run on starting fluid. The door was like that when I bought it. I'm not sure of miles, but odometer says 90,000 miles.

Call with any questions. 770-256-1447.

Dr. John I Hall purchased the “Sprite Car” in 1959 and drove it back and forth to the hospital, an 8 mile round trip, for 10 years.

His son drove it for 4 years until I took over ownership. This car has been in the family the entire time. I am no longer driving it and it needs to be enjoyed.

This car runs and will sit and idle without issue, hot oil pressure is 60.  It had been in my garage undriven for 5 years, so now all fluids have been drained and changed,  The tires are old.  Plenty of tread and they do hold air.  If someone is going to drive it any long distance I would recommend new tires.

It needs some minor body work. Mechanic is currently waiting for brake shoes on back wheels.  Original shop manual is available for it also.

•   New rear wheel brake cylinders, shoes, and rear brake hose
•   New battery
•   New fuel pump

Halogen headlights

•   Ansa exhaust
•   Parrish Plastics hard top
•   Zenith carburetor was rebuilt within the past 5-6 years
•   Manual choke conversion
•   Also includes an electric radiator fan we never installed

These are recent photos of the car, as well as an old photo that shows the aftermarket hard top. Here is the URL for more  photos and I will provide whatever other photos an interested buyer might want:

For Sale - 1973 MGB-GT  $14,500

My “Green Machine” in dark British Racing Green with grey interior is now for sale.  Completely restored vehicle with Fiero seats, woodgrain dash, wood steering wheel and wood accents.  This car has a recent Rivergate 5 speed transmission conversion using a Datsun 280ZX tranny.  The front subframe and suspension was recently rebuilt also.  Wheels are 15” Mini-Lites with low profile tires.  Tires are only one year old.  All major work was done by Ric Cline.  I restored the car to be a daily driver, but it ended up not being used that way.  I have a photo book that documents the restoration.  This car has been a common sight on our ORF Runs into the mountains…especially in the fall and winter months.  It runs and drives excellent and has won awards at many British car shows.  I hate to sell it, but I have to make room for a 1952 Allard J2X replica that I am buying…the new “Green Machine”!

For Sale - 1974 MGB   $8,900

Over $10K invested  just in parts, have all receipts.  Has undergone a 5-year rotisserie restoration with all work performed myself with the exception of the carburetors, cylinder head rework and paint.  Has hardened valve seats ,new exhaust valves, valve springs and timing chain.  Bottom end was OK and compression is 120 psi on all cylinders. Tan leather interior and new British Racing Green exterior.  Has new top and comes with hardtop.  Restoration is 98% complete.  Attempted to replace dash cover, should've hired it out.  Engine has oil leak, probably rear main crankshaft seal.  Has also developed coolant leak, origin unknown but could be freeze plug.  Lost interest, too old and fat to get in and out of it anymore and just want it gone.  All the "heavy lifting" done, you reap the reward. Cover parts and all the labor is free. $8,900 or best offer.

For Sale - 1980 MGB LE  Asking $7000.

The car has ~80,000 miles. It has been garaged since Dad purchased it around 1983 or ‘84. The original paint is still in good condition. The cockpit carpeting is relatively new, but the original carpeting over the battery compartment is showing its age. The car was delivered with dealer-installed air conditioning, which stopped working by the late ‘80s. Dad removed most of the parts back then, but we still have everything, if the buyer wishes to reinstall the AC.

FOR SALE:  Single-Owner 1959 Austin Healey Bug-eyed Sprite   Asking $10,000

For Sale - 1971 MGB    $9,500

I purchased the car in early 2004. The car is a 4 speed in excellent condition. At the time of purchase, I had left and right floor boards replaced, bushings replaced, new exhaust system and a few bulbs repaired/changed and new tires. I then stripped it and had it painted. The car has always been a fun and dependable vehicle. The original interior is in good shape, with AM/FM CD player. Mileage is approximately 52,500. I would like to sell for $9500.

Definitely open for negotiation from the right buyer.

For Sale - MGB    $10,500 OBO

This 1979 MG/MGB is a True (unrestored) Survivor. Just 79,280 original miles. I am the second owner of the car and have owned this car since 1995. It’s always been in the garage and never been in any kind of inclement weather. The body, paint, interior and engine bay are as they were the day it left the showroom.

This MGB is equipped with full gauges, and an AM/FM stereo tape. The current wheels are the upgrade silver painted wire knockoff type. It has MGB luggage rack, factory stripe kit, dual chrome mirrors, full boot and tonneau covers, MG embossed floor mats, headlight gravel guards, and nose bra. Original spare trunk tool kit is also in place.

The previous owner added an after market air conditioner unit which is still in place but not operational and can easily be removed if desired to return the car to its original state.
