For Sale - MGB    $10,500 OBO

This 1979 MG/MGB is a True (unrestored) Survivor. Just 79,280 original miles. I am the second owner of the car and have owned this car since 1995. It’s always been in the garage and never been in any kind of inclement weather. The body, paint, interior and engine bay are as they were the day it left the showroom.

This MGB is equipped with full gauges, and an AM/FM stereo tape. The current wheels are the upgrade silver painted wire knockoff type. It has MGB luggage rack, factory stripe kit, dual chrome mirrors, full boot and tonneau covers, MG embossed floor mats, headlight gravel guards, and nose bra. Original spare trunk tool kit is also in place.

The previous owner added an after market air conditioner unit which is still in place but not operational and can easily be removed if desired to return the car to its original state.

And there is a

Buckle in the trunk lid (also typical – see picture). There is some body rust, but less than is typical of an MG of this age.

Additional Parts:Electric fuel pump; iron fuel pump body, exterior rear view mirror; 4 wheel medallions, used trunk lid (surface rust but not buckled)

FOR SALE:  Single-Owner 1959 Austin Healey Bug-eyed Sprite   Asking $10,000

For Sale - 1971 MGB    $9,500

I purchased the car in early 2004. The car is a 4 speed in excellent condition. At the time of purchase, I had left and right floor boards replaced, bushings replaced, new exhaust system and a few bulbs repaired/changed and new tires. I then stripped it and had it painted. Definitely open for negotiation from the right buyer.

For Sale - 1957 MGA    $20,000

Decided to part ways with my 1957 MGA. Its a really fun car - just moving onto a new Porsche project.

It went through a year long renovation.  Largely, it was taken down to bare metal and new paint in addition to some changes like the headrest fairing, racing windscreen, etc.

It's really a driver; not perfect but a beautiful driver for the money.  No -- you're not James Bond, but folks will think you are.

For Sale - 1973 MGB-GT  $14,500

My “Green Machine” in dark British Racing Green with grey interior is now for sale.  Completely restored vehicle with Fiero seats, woodgrain dash, wood steering wheel and wood accents.  This car has a recent Rivergate 5 speed transmission conversion using a Datsun 280ZX tranny.  The front subframe and suspension was recently rebuilt also.  Wheels are 15” Mini-Lites with low profile tires.  Tires are only one year old.  All major work was done by Ric Cline.  I restored the car to be a daily driver, but it ended up not being used that way.  I have a photo book that documents the restoration.  This car has been a common sight on our ORF Runs into the mountains…especially in the fall and winter months.  It runs and drives excellent and has won awards at many British car shows.  I hate to sell it, but I have to make room for a 1952 Allard J2X replica that I am buying…the new “Green Machine”!

For Sale - 1980 MGB LE - $9,500

45,000+ miles on the odometer.  Less than 1,000 miles on rebuilt engine. Weber carb and John Esposito (Quantum Mechanics) remanufactured overdrive transmission, new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, clutch slave cylinder, hose and master cylinder, steel clutch line, turned and balanced flywheel, rebuilt front suspension and steering, new brakes and SS braided hoses, new radiator, new battery. Previous owner had body restored to rust free condition and professionally painted.  It is a real LE. The previous owner had the body professionally restored and painted and they didn’t put the luggage rack and stripes on it. I have the luggage rack and the side stripes if someone wants to complete the look but I liked the cleaner lines without them.

FOR SALE - 79 MGB  $2,000 OBO.

This garage kept 1979 MGB MK IV convertible has been owned by me since 1983 and garage kept the entire time.  I am the second owner.    MGB was stripped down and restored to British Racing Green in 1995 and has only minor body imperfections.   Tan interior.   Black roof in good shape.    Weber carb, all other parts are original.    Have not run it since 2011.    Buy for parts or buy to drive.  Located in Duluth, GA.         Randy Muench 678-709-9600 (c).

I have receipts for all the work I have had done on it and some of the work done by previous owners. (Several thousand dollars’ worth!) For the asking price someone is going to get a real bargain.

Luggage rack and LE stripes and hard top go with car. Convertible top is serviceable but could use a new one. Car is in Longmont, CO until the end of March, 2017.  After that, it will be in Scituate, RI.  For more details or photos please call
Charley at 203-733-4421 or email charleyrob@gmail.com.

The interior is in good condition, no rips or tears in the upholstery. I replaced the seat foam about 4 years ago, so they are nice and firm.

It has a replacement Alpine radio with CD and USB connection. I’ve got new speakers for the doors and rear speakers that I haven’t installed.

The heater works very well. I’m not sure what all pollution equipment is supposed to be on it but it has passed CO emissions which are relatively stringent. There are a few scratches and chips in the paint from 13 years of use since the body resto, but it is a very nice looking car.

The top, while still serviceable has some issues, one of the seams is starting to separate, there is a very small crack in the top’s driver’s side quarter window, and one or two of the fasteners has pulled out.

Since purchase (7/16/2012) many regular maintenance and minor issues such as the door latches (Moss catalog under Lock Kits part #401-200 and part #401-100) have been replaced as the gear that turns the outside door handles from the inside were worn.  The inside latches work fine.  All known purchases totaling over $5K of parts, labor, accessories, etc. have been chronologically documented since the current owners purchase.

The prior owner who completed the restoration and engine rebuild only used it for car shows and cruise-ins or an occasional parade. The car was purchased and transported to Gainesville, GA from New Bern, NC and has been driven only locally and has remained garaged when not driven.  Current odometer reading is slightly over 77,600 miles.

This is a beautiful automobile.  See the available pictures.  Schedule a time to see and drive the car to judge for yourself.  The car is registered in Hall County, GA and is part of an estate of which I am the legal executor.  It is being sold on behalf of the beneficiaries of the estate as they do not have the same passion and wish the car to be properly cared for and that the funds are available for other needs.  If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call or send a note to
glonlanier@charter.net.    I will respond promptly if I am not immediately available.

Dr. John I Hall purchased the “Sprite Car” in 1959 and drove it back and forth to the hospital, an 8 mile round trip, for 10 years.

His son drove it for 4 years until I took over ownership. This car has been in the family the entire time. I am no longer driving it and it needs to be enjoyed.

This car runs and will sit and idle without issue, hot oil pressure is 60.  It had been in my garage undriven for 5 years, so now all fluids have been drained and changed,  The tires are old.  Plenty of tread and they do hold air.  If someone is going to drive it any long distance I would recommend new tires.

It needs some minor body work. Mechanic is currently waiting for brake shoes on back wheels.  Original shop manual is available for it also.

For Sale - 1974 MGB   $8,900

Over $10K invested  just in parts, have all receipts.  Has undergone a 5-year rotisserie restoration with all work performed myself with the exception of the carburetors, cylinder head rework and paint.  Has hardened valve seats ,new exhaust valves, valve springs and timing chain.  Bottom end was OK and compression is 120 psi on all cylinders. Tan leather interior and new British Racing Green exterior.  Has new top and comes with hardtop.  Restoration is 98% complete.  Attempted to replace dash cover, should've hired it out.  Engine has oil leak, probably rear main crankshaft seal.  Has also developed coolant leak, origin unknown but could be freeze plug.  Lost interest, too old and fat to get in and out of it anymore and just want it gone.  All the "heavy lifting" done, you reap the reward. Cover parts and all the labor is free. $8,900 or best offer.
